Sharing information, net-working, seeking out opportunities, and planning events which bring people to Hertel, helps area businesses and North Buffalo to prosper. Commonwealth Avenue Block Club
A neighborhood block club that meets to discuss neighborhood issues, ways to build our community, and get to know the people on our street. They also plan events like block sales and parties.
Italian Festival
The Galbani Cheese Italian Heritage and Food Festival of Buffalo includes local and national entertainment, bocce, Italian Idol contest, cultural demonstrations, crafts, kids activities, Miss Italian and grape stomping contests and Sicilian puppet shows to name just a few of the special events! But the Italian Festival is so much more! All of the profits from the Festival come back into our community through the support of organizations, community centers, scholarships and more!
North Buffalo Organization & North Buffalo Farmers Market
A community organization dedicated to working with residents, businesses, and visitors to improve the quality of life for everyone in the North Buffalo community.
The North Buffalo Farmers Market offers fresh grown produce and other goods from local farmers and entrepreneurs, held Thursdays April-October from 3 to 7 at 1113 Hertel Ave in the Holy Spirit Church parking lot on the corner of Delaware.
Rugby Block Club
Representing a great street which is family oriented, but with single professionals and others who feel comfortable there also.
